"UKRZALIZNYTSA" changs the planning strategy of cargo traffic

:«The state administration of railways transport of Ukraine (»UKRZALYZNITSA") undertakes a new planning strategy of trasporation to the ports. The cause of this decision was the necessity to eliminate transportation schedule failures for transportations through the ports and land border lines. The basis for this decision was introduction of the whole complex of electronic programs for railways paperpwork which should make the work of transportation participants easier to and quicker. This system implies that the ports themselves will participate in the planning procedure. Moreover, the system does not allow the railways to increase railcars quantity in comparisson with the agreed by the ports' calendar graphics. «Therefore, the ports will not be able to accuse us in larger volumes of cargoes arrived to the ports because they increase the agreed figures», said Yuriy Grigorzhevskiy, deputy director of «UKRZALIZNYTSA». Now the situation is quite the opposite. This order will start working since June 1st, 2008. "
